Meet Our Team

Dona M. Alvino, MEd, BCBA

Director Of Clinical Services To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. ~ Dr. Seuss
After receiving my bachelor’s degree in child psychology and a master’s degree in Special Education, I accepted a position working for a family to support their son with autism in their home in 1993. I joined a team lead by a researcher in the field of applied behavior analysis. My experience with this team led me down an amazing journey into learning more about autism and specific intervention strategies. I then pursued my BCBA designation and began working in the field in 2004. I have since worked with companies that provided direct care and treatment for children on the spectrum. I also developed an autism program within a private school and worked for the PA Bureau of Special Education as an educational consultant providing support in the areas of autism, behavior, and leadership to schools across Pennsylvania.

I joined Elevation to continue my passion for providing quality programming and treatment to children with autism. Elevation’s vision and mission fit into my personal commitment of support and dedication to those being served and those on our team. Elevation’s philosophy for providing quality treatment, their level of commitment to the families they work with and their mission of wanting to build strengths within their own team is unmatched, and one that I eagerly wanted to experience.

I look forward to meeting and working with you as part of our family!

Jaime White, BCaBA

Associate Clinical Supervisor All children in some form or another have genius; the trick is to bring it out in them. ~Charles Chaplin
I began working with children with autism in kindergarten when I served as a peer buddy to a classmate with autism. I continued my journey working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities at a local summer camp in middle school. After that, I served as a peer tutor and life skills coach in high school and throughout college. In 2004, I was introduced into the world of Applied Behavior Analysis while providing in-home therapy to two boys with autism. I served as a behavior therapist in private programs before obtaining my BCaBA certification in 2010. Since then, I have worked in home, clinic, and school programs throughout Georgia and South Carolina building relationships with children, whom I have since had the joy to watch grow into functional young men and women. Currently, I’m excited to be pursuing my Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis! I also have a strong passion for foreign languages and cultures. In my spare time, I love to cook (and eat!) German and Korean food, teach English as a foreign language, and plan my next global adventure. After being born in Atlanta, I’m proud to return and provide collaborative, family-centered ABA services to the community that welcomed me into the world.

Standard of Excellence

We recently received the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) Preliminary Accreditation. An independent audit of our clinical processes was conducted to ensure we have demonstrated and met the highest Engagement Plan standards.

BHCOE is taking the lead on a growing movement to increase the quality of service provided by behavioral health specialists. To obtain certification, service providers are required to meet a standard of verified clinical quality, transparency, and accountability.

The BHCOE distinction demonstrates a provider takes all measures necessary to ensure effective treatment integrity and the highest quality clinical environment for children, families, and staff.
